What makes you happy?
What makes me happy?
- Spending quality time with my family
- Being productive at work
- Tasting success and seeing growth in my career
- Meeting people and having meaningful conversations with them
- Seeing new/interesting things and places - whether it’s the Eiffel tower, or the cherry spoon, or the butterflies emerging from their cocoon
- Seeing my kids happy makes me happy
Little things make me happy. I suppose little things make me easily unhappy as well. Is your own happiness the only thing that matters though? I'm not sure. It does make me feel guilty when my happiness sometimes results in somebody else being unhappy, but I want to do what I want to do. Win-win is not possible all the time. Is it okay to step on other people’s happiness to attain yours? Are your choices not always supreme? Each one is looking for their best interests. How do you manage the clashes? Who needs to sacrifice their happiness?
